May Programs 2019

Mother Goose on the Loose - May 7, 10:00 - 10:30 AM  Madison Public Library This story/activity time is for children 6mo-35mo. It includes rhymes, songs, musical instruments and more for babies and toddlers and their caregivers. Registration is required.

All Ages Story Time - May 2nd and 9th  10:00 AM Hanover Branch Library  This fun story time includes books, songs, music shakers and crafts.  All ages welcome. Registration is required.

Pajama Story Time - May 8  6:00-6:30 PM Madison Public Library  This evening story time is for all ages. Children may wear pajamas if they wish. We will enjoy stories, music, rhymes and a craft.  Themes will include fireflies, llamas, and horses.  Registration is required.

Young Writer's Workshop- Tuesdays in May   4:00- 5:30 PM  Madison Public Library     Creative writing guided by Dominique Battles of Hanover College. This program is for kids in 4th - 6th grade. The program is ongoing and meets on Tuesdays. Participants who finish a story may submit it to be added to the library's collection.  Registration is required.

STEM Saturday  May 25th   10:00 AM   Madison Public Library Join us for lots of fun building activities!  All ages welcome, recommended for ages 4 and up.  Make Easter Egg poppers, create a parachute for a peep and test it out, build a bridge with gumdrops and play with Legos or building blocks.  Registration required.

Movie: Into the Spider-Verse   3: 30 PM  Madison Public Library  Join us for a showing of the new animated film  in the auditorium at the main library.  This is THE superhero movie to see with kids. PG 117 min. Popcorn and drink provided.  Feel free to bring your own snack. All ages welcome. No registration required.
